I have worked in all manner of clinics and therapy centres since 1989, but I now choose to see my clients in the comfort of my own home, making the occasional home visit in special circumstances. When you come to me for a treatment, this is what will happen.

GENERAL TREATMENT - FOOT REFLEXOLOGY
First of all I will have a short chat about why you have come, how you feel and how you think I might help you. If I don't think I can, I will say so.
Secondly I will ask you to take off your shoes and sit in a reclining chair. I will examine your feet, and then begin to press them with my fingers and thumbs, very thoroughly all over. This may take 30 minutes. This is usually very pleasant and relaxing and you will tell me what you can feel as I do it.
Following this I might work thoroughly a few selected areas, moving occasionally to your hands and possibly your face. I will press more deeply, and you will tell me how hard I can go. These areas will be related to specific organs and functions and I will be aiming to reduce the sensitivity you might feel.
At the second treatment I will assess changes that have taken place in your condition and we will decide together whether foot, hand or head reflexology, or even a combination of all three works best for you. I may suggest a particular method of reflexology, for example Vertical Reflexology, Taiwanese or Reiki. If your condition is acute, 1 session may be enough to relieve your symptoms - sinusitis, sciatica, joint pain, wound healing, headache, heartburn, indigestion and so on, or 1 to 3 short treatments in the first week

FACIAL REFLEXOLOGY
So good for eyes, ears, taste, touch and hearing; also anxiety, ear and stress. Relax on a comfy couch and be prepared for 40 minutes of bliss!
If your condition is chronic you will probably need quite a few sessions to make a difference. 6 is about average, weekly or less to begin with and then more widely spaced. My current clients have conditions which include tinnitus, macular degeneration, wisdom teeth problems, shoulder pain, asthma, migraine, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, broken tibia, depressive illness, chronic fatigue syndrome and menstrual problems
I have special programmes for clients with cancer,  pregnant women, children and babies. 10 clients arrive once month for "maintenance" sessions, time to relax and enjoy a bit of pampering. Some have been coming for 15 years!
I visit local nursing homes, schools, offices shops, businesses and halls of residence where a number of people are requiring reflexology on the same day

HAND REFLEXOLOGY
No need to take your shoes off. You can learn a dozen self-help techniques as well as having an effective treament!If you have a problem with your health or general well-being I am happy to discuss reflexology with you.
